I've never been able to grow poppies and I just adore them. They have to be one of the prettiest, yet odd, flowers I have ever seen. One day I want to live in a climate where I can grow and entire garden of poppies. I found this garden at the Lindeth Howe Country House in Bowness-on-Windermere back in the summer of 2010. The hub, one son and my niece went on quite a journey throughout the UK.
I found this photo tonight as I am trying to finish up some journal pages for my niece's travel book.
What fond memories this one brings back.
